Empowerment through Burlesque with Kat Ebaugh

Meet the very funny and talented Kat Ebaugh who both acts in The Naples Players’ Stage 2 Improv troupe and teaches a new Burlesque class at TNP.  Kat talks about the origins of Burlesque and how it was originally rooted in comedy and as a means to deal with political issues. Kat sees burlesque as a way to empower women. Women can expect to learn some basics of burlesque and to leave feeling good about yourself. Her new Burlesque & Bordeaux class is coming up on April 1, 7:00-9:30pm. Her upcoming g Improv shows are March 28 & April 4 & 25, 7:00 & 9:00pm at TNP’s Sugden Theatre.

Spring is in the air!  Time to start working on that confidence for bathing suit season.  This is Burlesque!  In this weekend work shop you will learn how to strut your stuff for those upcoming warm weather outings. Moves covered will be the shimmy, the bump and grind, various movement in heels, and working with props. Grab the girls, drink some wine, and feel more empowered, sassier, and confidence with the power of Burlesque!
