Dot first stepped on the stage as an actor at the age of 9 as an orphan in Oliver! She holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from Barrington College. Her love of theatre was an avocation throughout her professional career in New England. After relocating to Naples in 1999 with her husband Mark Vanagas, she was hired by The Naples Players in 2002 as the first Costume Shop Supervisor. She will always be grateful for the opportunity to turn her avocation into a fulfilling, creative career that has allowed her to continue to grow her skills as a designer. She is proud to have developed the Costume Department into a professional quality shop. She really enjoys working with the volunteers and the laughter that can always be found on the 3rd floor.

Mollie is in her fourth season with TNP as Costume Shop Supervisor. After graduating with her Masters in Costume Design from FSU, she joined the Creative Costuming team for Disney Parks Live Entertainment as well as freelanced as a designer in the Orlando area. Previous design credits include The Wedding Singer, Footloose, Yours, Truly, Bye Bye Birdie, and She Loves Me (TNP); Nunsense 2, The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical (TheatreWorks Florida); Fun Home, The Royal Family (Mad Cow); and Florida State University’s Cloud Nine, Killer Joe, Some Girl(s). She has previously worked at Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Williamstown Theatre Festival and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. She would like to thank her friends, family and love Reece for their unending support and encouragement.

MaryAnne has been costuming and teaching the young actors of TNP’s KidzAct program since 2005. As a performer for TNP, she was last seen as Donna in Mamma Mia! Other TNP roles include Elizabeth Benning/Young Frankenstein, Momma Rose/Gypsy, and Madame Thenardier/Les Misérables.
