The Naples Players and Avow Kids team up to provide children ages 8-12 with a free Camp Mending Heart spring break experience. The online camp runs March 15th through March 19th from 1-3 p.m. and provides interactive expression and fun through improv, singing, dancing, and acting for children affected by grief due to loss, including the loss of normalcy related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Campers will also work on selected monologues, music, and choreography from the hit Broadway show
Matilda.
The online Camp Mending Heart provides a safe, fun, and judgment-free environment where kids can learn, create, laugh, and connect with other children who are affected by grief and loss.
The class is led by The Naples Players Director of Community Education & Wellness, Craig Price, and local director and choreographer, Emma Canalese.
Registration is open through Avow Kids by calling (239) 261-4404 or emailing [email protected] Funding for the camp is provided in part by the Naples Children and Education Foundation (NCEF).
