Southwest Florida radio personality Dave Elliot speaks with The Naples Players’ Production Stage Manager Cole Butcher and Associate Artistic Director Jessica Walck about adult education opportunities at the Naples Players. Classes are designed for everyone in the community with a wide range of classes for anyone interested in learning about theatre. For those new to theatre there are Intro to Acting, Intro to Stage Management and Basic Sound Engineering classes taught by theatre professionals. Cole Butcher is the Production Stage Manager for The Naples Players He received his Bachelor of Arts in Stage Management from Western Michigan University. He has worked professionally stateside and internationally, participating in all forms of theatre ranging from opera and musicals, to new and experimental plays. He has a strong passion for educational theatre, teaching for a conservatory and local public schools in the Bay Area. Previous companies Cole has worked for include Steel the Stage, Carnival Cruise Lines, Broadway by the Bay, The Palm Springs Follies, California Theatre Center, Hampstead Theatre in London and the Walt Disney World Resort.
Jessica Walck is a Meisner trained actor and graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in NYC. She is the Associate Artistic Director here at TNP and has performed Off-Broadway, regionally and locally. Also, an adjunct acting professor at Ave Maria University, Jessica loves working with actors and helping them to find the truth in their acting.
