PARENT MEET & GREET
We invite all of our parents to join us on August 19th at 6pm for a casual parent gathering in the Glass Educational Theatre lobby. It will be a nice opportunity to meet other parents, learn more about your student’s upcoming semester, and meet the TNPA Faculty. Light hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be available.
ORIENTATION AND SCHEDULE REVIEW
Students are invited to campus on August 27th from 11am to 12:30 to get acquainted with the classroom spaces, pick up their first trimester schedules, TNPA badges, and meet their classmates. Please enter through the education entrance on 4th street. Pizza will be served.

We encourage parents to take advantage of the state of Florida’s Tax Free Holiday for school supplies – which ends August 31st.
Class Schedule
Students and parents will be emailed their individual Semester Class Schedule before the Parent Meet & Greet. Students are encouraged to ask questions and engage with the schedule at the Student Orientation Day.
Student Lockers
Students will be assigned a locker at Student Orientation for their continued usage throughout the year – to store electronics, books, dance shoes, etc… Students will need to provide their own locks, or purchase one from TNPA. Please reference the Student Handbook for rules and regulations.
Lunches, Snacks, and more!
Parents will have the opportunity to put money onto a student’s account for use in purchasing hot or cold lunches, snacks, drinks, basic school supplies, and even school swag! Lunch options, as well as instructions for putting money onto your student’s account, will be provided to you by the “Parent Meet & Greet.” Different lunch options will range from $1-$10, and the student will use their ID Card to “pay.”
Pick-up & Drop-off
Students will only be permitted to enter & exit the facility through the TNPA Entrance on 4th Avenue. This door will be staffed at all times – and students must use their ID cards to “check-in” and “check-out.”
Cell Phone Policy
Students will be asked to keep their cell phones out of sight, except for use during passing periods and lunch.
Fire & Security Drills
Students will be required to participate in standard Fire Drills and Lockdown procedures as part of their normal school activities; to ensure a safe environment for the 21st Century.
Forms & Waivers
Parents will be required to complete a variety of waivers BEFORE a student may attend classes. These waivers will be available before the Parent Meet & Greet!
Tuition Payments
Starting August 20th, parents will be able to simply contact or visit the Box Office to drop-off or make payments for tuition, lunches, etc…
TNPA Visitors
Parent visitors to TNPA must check-in at the 4th Avenue Entrance, and will be escorted to their student. There are no un-escorted visitors at TNPA.
ID Cards
Students will be given a Student ID Card at Student Orientation. This ID must be kept with the student at all times. It will provide door access throughout the facility, serve as a method for paying for lunches, supplies, etc…, and provide critical information to staff when needed.
