Ticketing Policies
Last Updated: September 29, 2025
The following Ticketing Policies apply to all performances, programs, and events presented by The Naples Players (“TNP”). By purchasing a ticket or attending an event, you agree to be bound by these policies.
General Policies
Tickets are non-refundable. The resale of tickets is strictly prohibited.
The Naples Players is the only official ticketing source for events at the Sugden Community Theatre. Tickets purchased through unauthorized sellers may be fraudulent, inappropriately priced, or unusable. Such tickets will not be exchanged, honored, or refunded by TNP. For assistance, please contact the Box Office at (239) 263-7990.
Ticket Delivery & Will Call
Tickets may be delivered digitally to your email, picked up at will-call, or mailed upon request. A government-issued photo ID matching the name on the order is required for all will-call pickups. Please confirm your email ticket confirmation before arriving at the theatre.
Exchanges & Returns
Tickets may be exchanged online through your “My Tickets” account or in person during Box Office business hours. A fee of $5.00 per ticket applies; subscribers receive free exchanges.
If you are unable to attend and cannot exchange, you may return your tickets to the Box Office and claim the value as a tax-deductible donation.
Service Fees & Payment Methods
All purchases may be subject to standard service or processing fees. The Naples Players accepts major credit cards and contactless payments. Payment in full is required at the time of purchase. Cash is not accepted.
Group Sales & Discounts
Groups of ten (10) or more may be eligible for special rates or seating options. Please contact the Box Office for availability and details.
Seating & Late Arrival
Unless otherwise noted, all performances feature reserved seating. Some special events or outdoor performances may be general admission, as indicated at purchase.
Latecomers may not be admitted until an appropriate interval in the performance. Seating location is at the discretion of the ushers and may differ from the seats printed on your ticket.
Age Recommendations
Children are welcome at The Naples Players. For the comfort of all patrons, children under the age of two (2) are discouraged from attending. Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the theatre.
Waitlists
In the event of a sold-out performance, a waitlist will be available beginning the Monday of that performance week. Patrons must have an account with a card on file to join the list; cash deposits are not accepted.
Seats are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are seated, your card will be charged retroactively for the appropriate ticket price. If we attempt to contact you and receive no response, we will proceed to the next patron on the list.
Cancellations & Force Majeure
If a performance is canceled, you will be notified as soon as possible. Tickets will be exchanged for another available performance or fully refunded.
Performances canceled or delayed due to weather or other circumstances beyond TNP’s control will be exchanged or refunded in the same manner.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available for purchase through the Box Office and may be redeemed for Naples Players productions only.
Concessions
Beverages and snacks are available in the lobby. Patrons are welcome to bring purchased items into the theatre but are asked to dispose of trash responsibly.
Accessibility
Hearing assistance devices are available in the lobby. Patrons may use the provided headphones or select the t-coil setting for direct connection to hearing aids.
Large-print playbills are available upon request. For additional accessibility information, please visit Accessibility at TNP.
Patron Code of Conduct
TNP strives to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or conduct that interferes with others’ enjoyment of the performance will not be tolerated and may result in removal without refund.
Weapons Policy
For the safety and comfort of all guests, TNP enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding weapons. Firearms, knives, explosives, and hazardous items are prohibited on TNP property, except for authorized law enforcement personnel.
Notwithstanding recent changes in Florida law regarding open carry, private property owners, including TNP, retain authority to prohibit firearms on their premises. TNP programs include schools and youth activities where weapons are inappropriate. Violators may be refused entry or removed without refund and may be subject to law enforcement action.
Liability Release
By attending an event at The Naples Players, you assume all risks associated with live theatre attendance, including but not limited to illness, injury, accidents, or loss of personal property. You agree to release TNP, its staff, and volunteers from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
