TRAINING FOR THE PROFESSIONAL WORLD

Theatre Internships

TNP’s internship program provides students with practical, real-world experience

The Naples Players is searching for motivated, confident, and creative young theatre artists to fill the various internship programs offered throughout the year: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Full Season. Interns will work closely with the professional full-time staff members in mounting the productions available during the time of the program. Qualified inters may also have the opportunity to assistant design sets, costumes, lights, or sound.

Unlike most programs around the country, housing located within walking distance to the theatre and scenic downtown Naples, as well as a weekly stipend, are provided. Because of the unique qualities of the program, participation is highly competitive – with nearly 300 applicants every year.

Production Intern Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Full-time, part time, or recent graduate from a college or university
  • Majoring or minoring in Theatre or Theatre Education, or applicable degree
  • Minimum of 1 semester under Theatre degree

Junior Intern Requirements:
